The Story of Holiday Unplugged

Sally is an art teacher and a loving mother. For the past 10 years, she has raised her two children, Keegan and Boo, while keeping the memory of her late husband, Jake, alive.

Now Sally feels ready to find love again. She joins a dating app and is surprised when she matches with Damon, a former colleague who once taught her children in kindergarten.

Jake had helped create a website where families could save their old home videos. One day, a server problem causes Sally to lose her special videos of Jake. Her phone, which also had backup copies, accidentally breaks. The only way to get the videos back is to find the original tapes.

Sally does not want her children to know that the videos are missing. So, she decides to have a screen-free Christmas while secretly searching for the tapes. Damon learns about her problem and helps her look for them. As they spend more time together, they slowly become closer.

Meanwhile, Keegan and Boo discover that they can have fun without phones, computers, and screens. They enjoy spending time with their grandparents, who eventually agree that the screen-free Christmas is a good idea.

After trying everything, Sally begins to believe that the videos may be lost forever. In the end, the family learns that old memories are precious, but making new happy memories together is just as important.

1 Juan Pablo Di Pace as Damon

Juan Pablo Di Pace is a multi-talented Argentine actor, singer, director, and writer who embarked on his acting career in 1999.

He gained recognition for his diverse roles as Petros in the 2008 film Mamma Mia!, as Nicolás Treviño in the 2014 TV series Dallas, as Fernando in the 2016-2020 TV series Fuller House, and as Matias in the 2024 film For Another Time.
