Nichole Sakura is a multi-talented Japanese-American actress, model, writer, and director. She is well known for portraying Cheyenne Thompson in the NBC comedy Superstore (2015–2021) and Emily Davis in the horror video game Until Dawn.
On March 15, 2025, her first Hallmark movie Royal-ish, will be released. In this movie, she plays the lead role of Lacey alongside popular actor William Moseley. The story follows Lacey works as a princess in an amusement park. One day, she meets Rose, a real princess who is only eight years old.
They become friends right away. Rose’s father, a handsome king, sees how kind Lacey is. He asks her to come to their kingdom and be Rose’s new governess. Lacey is surprised but excited. Should she leave her old life behind and start a new adventure in a real palace?

She studied at Santa Susana High School in Simi Valley and later went to the University of Southern California, where she graduated in three years with a degree in Theater. After college, she took classes at The Groundlings Theatre for a short time but was cut from the program, which she found very upsetting.
