The Story of My Christmas Cowboy
Meg once dreamed of becoming a news reporter, but she gave up after a bad audition in college. Since then, she has been happy working as a news producer in her small hometown of Fern, Texas.
Billy Kane was Meg’s college crush and her audition partner. He went on to become a famous TV host in Hollywood. However, after making a mistake on live television, his career is in trouble. His publicist tells him to leave Hollywood for a while and spend Christmas with his sister and her family in Texas.
When Meg and Billy meet again, Billy is happy to see her. But Meg is still upset with him because she believes he used her failed audition to get the job for himself.
Meg keeps seeing Billy because his nephew, Graham, takes part in a horse therapy program run by Meg’s father at their ranch. Soon, Meg’s father gets hurt and cannot host the town’s annual Reindeer Roundup Christmas event. He asks Billy to take his place.
Meg is not happy about the idea, but she agrees to help Billy prepare. She teaches him how to ride horses and rope before the big event.
As they spend more time together, Meg and Billy slowly become close again. Meg begins to see that Billy is more than just a famous Hollywood star.
Their time together helps both of them become more confident, try new things, and discover happiness. They may even find love along the way.
