Actress Holly Robinson Peete was born on September 18, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her dad, Matt Robinson, was a talented actor, writer, and singer. He was born on January 1, 1937, and passed away on August 5, 2002, at the age of 65.

Holly’s mom Dolores, was also in show business as an actress and producer. She was born on April 13, 1936. Holly has an older brother named Matthew Thomas Robinson III.

Education

She studied at Greene Street Friends School in Germantown. After that, she moved to California in 1974. There, she went to Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica. In 1986, she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in Psychology and French.
