Kim Matula is an American actress. She was born on August 23, 1988, in Fort Worth, Texas. Kim started acting when she was just 12 years old. When she was 15, she sent some pictures of herself to an agent, and they liked her. She first appeared in a TV Movie called ‘Queen Sized‘ in 2008 and also had a part in a show called ‘Pink‘ in the same year.

Later she appeared in the big-budget movie Fighting with My Family along with famous actor Dwayne Johnson.

Kim Matula first appeared on Hallmark Channel with the movie Ghosts of Christmas Always in 2022. Later she signed another Hallmark channel Christmas movie Checkin’ it Twice, which is coming in October 2023.

Matula was born to David and Karin Matula in Fort Worth, Texas. Her ancestors include Norwegian, Czech, English, Sudeten German, and French-Canadian. Matula has always wanted to be an actress and has made movies of herself doing so.

Matula attended the University of Texas at Arlington after graduating from high school, but she dropped out because her acting career was taking off. She also studied cinema at the University of Texas at Arlington before dropping out to pursue her acting career.

Career, Struggle, Turning Point, and Success

Matula debuted in the Lifetime film Queen Sized in 2008, and the following year relocated to Los Angeles, where she got the part of Hope Logan in the CBS daytime serial opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

Matula received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2014 for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. Matula’s character had huge storylines in her last two years in the drama.

Matula’s contract was not extended in November 2014, and she will be leaving the series to pursue a career in primetime television and movies. Actress Matula joined the cast of the highly praised Lifetime dark comedy-drama series Unreal for the second season in 2016. Matula has a starring role in the Fox comedy series LA to Vegas in 2018.

Matula was snatched up by the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful (1987) to play Hope Logan, heroine Brooke Logan’s youngest daughter, shortly after permanently relocating to Los Angeles the following year to focus on her acting career (Katherine Kelly Lang). Matula quickly rose to prominence on the show, becoming the main attraction from 2012 to 2014. Despite being nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, Matula chose not to renew her contract and left the show in December 2014.
