An American actor Pooch Hall, best known for his roles as Derwin Davis in the TV Series The Game in 2006,  as Sod in the Film Hood of Horror in 2006, as Cody Bell in the TV Series Warehouse 13 in 2012 and Sgt Whomever in the Film Cherry in 2021.

Pooch Hall started his Hallmark Journey with the movie A Nashville Legacy in 2023, directed by Roger M. Bobb. In this film, he portrayed the character Damian and collaborated with actress Andrea Lewis.

He was the 1994 Southern New England Golden Gloves champion in boxing. Hall originally started performing with the UMass Dartmouth Theatre Company when he was a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.


He completed his schooling from Brockton, Massachusetts. For higher study he attened University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Pooch Hall Career

Hall began his career as a model and commercial actor. Hall’s first performance was in the 2001 film Lift. He made an appearance in Blue Hill Avenue the same year. He co-hosted The N reality series Girls v. Boys in 2003.

Hall played Ty’ree in the Miracle’s Boys miniseries in 2005. He was chosen to play Derwin Davis on Game the next year. In her music video for the song “What You Do,” Chrisette Michele played him as her romantic interest.

In the 2009–2010 season of the CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose, Hall had a recurring role. He took over for Cory Hardrict (the husband of Tia Mowry, his co-star from The Game). Hall explained specifics of his departure from the television program The Game during an appearance on The Tom Joyner Morning Show. “I swear, my contract came up.

We haggled, but we couldn’t agree on a price. My colleagues then informed me that you will be sent to the auditions “. Hall said that Ray Donovan on Showtime was aware of his commitment to BET yet waited so long to get back to his agents. Despite this, Hall continued to work on his new projects.

Hall said, “I never did leave the show. “I was given another work when The Game was canceled, and the following day I booked Ray Donovan.” In the sixth season’s “The Blueprint” episode and series finale, Hall made a cameo appearance. He received his A Dog’s Purpose casting on September 18, 2015.
