The Story of Double Booked for the Holiday

Identical twin sisters Abigail and Charlie are very different. Abigail is quiet and loves books, while Charlie is an adventurous event planner who loves traveling. But they both agree that spending their first Christmas without their mother will be difficult.

Just before the holidays, they get a surprise chance to travel to Wales and run the Story Shoppe, a cozy bookshop and Airbnb in the town of Hay-on-Wye, for a week. Abigail is especially excited because the town is connected to her favorite book series, the Winterton Chronicles, a collection of romantic Regency Christmas stories.

After arriving, Abigail starts decorating the bookshop’s window with help from Tom, the friendly barista from next door. Tom also loves the Winterton Chronicles. Meanwhile, Charlie meets Lord Rhys, a charming man whose family is connected to the author of the famous book series.

Soon, a funny case of mistaken identity begins. Abigail thinks the thoughtful Christmas gifts she receives are from Rhys, but they are actually from Tom. At the same time, Charlie and Rhys grow closer while working together to prepare the Winterton Ball at his castle.

As Rhys and Tom both become interested in the sisters, neither realizes that Abigail and Charlie are identical twins. Their secret is finally revealed on the night of the Christmas ball, leading to several surprising moments.

In the end, the couples learn that sometimes the perfect Christmas love story doesn’t go exactly according to the book but it can still have a happy ending.
