The Story of Christmas in Blue Dog Valley
Goldie MacKenzie is a veterinarian who works with animals on movie sets in Hollywood. She decides to leave the busy life of Hollywood and buys a family-owned veterinary clinic in a small town called Blue Dog Valley. She arrives just before Christmas.
The clinic’s longtime owner, Dr. Gable, suddenly has to leave town. His handsome son, Cohen, agrees to look after Goldie while she settles in. Cohen is known as the “black sheep” of his family because he chose not to become a veterinarian like his family wanted.
Goldie and Cohen do not get along when they first meet. Things become harder when the people of Blue Dog Valley do not welcome Goldie because she is new to the town.
Cohen decides to help Goldie win the trust of the local people. Together, they deal with different animal problems and Christmas emergencies.
Goldie also meets a mysterious dog that she names Blue. The dog keeps appearing at the right time and seems to guide Goldie whenever she needs help.
As Goldie works hard to help the animals and people of Blue Dog Valley, she slowly begins to feel at home. She also starts to develop feelings for Cohen. In the end, Goldie discovers that her new town—and its “black sheep”—may be exactly where she belongs.
