The Story of A Season of Promises

Heidi and Sophie are sisters, but they are very different. Heidi is serious and focused on getting a job as a sports commentator for the local professional hockey team. Sophie dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian while working as a waitress.

The sisters became distant after their mother passed away several years ago. However, they both deeply love their father Ed.

One day their father Ed faints and is taken to the hospital. Heidi and Sophie quickly go to see him. They are worried because their father is still alone, four years after their mother’s death.

The sisters decide to put their differences aside and help their father find love before Christmas. They become his matchmakers and try to find someone special for him.

While helping their father, Heidi and Sophie also learn important things about their own lives. Their journey brings them unexpected happiness, love, and peace during the Christmas season.

1 James Denton as Ed

James Denton is an American actor and musician he was born on 20th January 1963. He is well-known for his roles as Mike Delfino on a  comedy-drama of ABC Desperate Housewives between 2004-2012 and Hallmark Channel’s comedy-drama series Good Witch.

Brooke D’Orsay is a Canadian actress known for her work in movies and television series. She is well-known for her roles in Hallmark television films.

D’Orsay’s first Hallmark movie was the movie How To Fall in Love released in 2012. She played the role of Annie Hayes. Her role is a waitress by day and an event planner at night.
