Pooch Hall Early Life
Pooch Hall’s Birth name is Marion H. Hall, Jr. He is a Son of Marion and Cindy Hall, he was raised and went to high school in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was the 1994 Southern New England Golden Gloves champion in boxing. Hall originally started performing with the UMass Dartmouth Theatre Company when he was a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Hall began his career as a model and commercial actor. Hall’s first performance was in the 2001 film Lift. He made an appearance in Blue Hill Avenue the same year. He co-hosted The N reality series Girls v. Boys in 2003. He played Ty’ree in the Miracle’s Boys miniseries in 2005. He was chosen to play Derwin Davis on Game the next year. In her music video for the song “What You Do,” Chrisette Michele played him as her romantic interest.
In the 2009–2010 season of the CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose, Hall had a recurring role. He took over for Cory Hardrict (the husband of Tia Mowry, his co-star from The Game). Hall explained specifics of his departure from the television program The Game during an appearance on The Tom Joyner Morning Show. “I swear, my contract came up.
