The Story of Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!
Ted Cooper is a cheerful weatherman who adores Christmas, but the last three holidays have been disasters. This year he’s determined to change his luck and make it the best Christmas yet.
When Ted goes back to his hometown of Lackawanna, NY, his holiday spirit is quickly tested. Within hours of arriving at his sister Kate’s house he falls off a ladder while hanging decorations and ends up at Urgent Care.
There he bumps into Ruth Mittens his old high school science teacher who always believed in him. He also runs into Hope Miller (Sustad), his smart and charming high school classmate and old secret crush, who is now Dr. Hope Miller.
Ted begins to think this could be the Christmas where everything turns around, especially with the chance of new romance. But his streak of holiday bad luck isn’t finished yet. Luckily, with the love and support of Kate, Ruth, and Hope, Ted may finally get the joyful Christmas he’s been wishing for.

1 Robert Buckley as Ted
Robert Earl Buckley is an American actor best known for his roles as Clay Evans on The CW’s teen drama series One Tree Hill and Major Lillywhite on The CW’s comedy-drama series iZombie from 2015 to 2019.
He has also played Kirby Atwood on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle and Major Lillywhite on The CW’s comedy-drama series Lipstick Jungle. On the ABC horror thriller series 666 Park Avenue, Buckley played Brian Leonard.
He started his Hallmark career in 2020 with the romantic drama film Love in Store, directed by Paul Ziller. In the film, he played David, alongside popular actors Carlo Marks, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Lisa Chandler. Read Full Bio
2 Kimberley Sustad as Hope
Kimberley Sustad is a Canadian actress and writer. She was born on May 27, 1987, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is well-known for her works such as Travelers in the year 2016; Unspeakable in the year 2019, and The Twilight Zone in the year 2019.
Sustad started her career with the short Live Henry Live in 2009. Later she worked in a TV movie Thunderballs in 2011, as a supporting artist.
Hallmark Channel hired Kimberley for the first time in 2012 for a Christmas movie A Bride for Christmas, where she worked with Andrew W. Walker and Arielle Kebbel. It was her door-opening movie for the Hallmark channel. Read Full Bio
