Jakeem Hawkins began his acting journey in 2000 with the TV series Days of Our Lives. Since then, he has appeared in many TV series, TV movies, films, and short films. He is best known for playing Damon in the TV series Chance (2016), the Studio Manager in Celebrity Prank Wars, and Jean Baptiste Nigerian Caller in the 2023 film Dog Gone.
After making his mark in Hollywood, Jakeem is now stepping into the Hallmark world with the movie Double Scoop, releasing on August 23, 2025. In this film, he plays Lavery and stars alongside Ryan McPartlin and Taylor Cole.
Double Scoop tells the story of Nora and James, who were once the perfect team at a top New York ad agency. Now, they’re fierce rivals, each determined to win over a charming small-town dairy farm—famous for making the most delicious ice cream in the country.
