Daniel Lissing is an Australian actor who was born on October 04, 1981, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. His birth name is Daniel Aaron Lissing. He is well-known for his work Crownies in 2011 as Conrad De Groot. Later, in 2012 he acted in The Last Resort, an American military drama.

He started his acting career with the Television series Pizza in 2001 and later he debuted in the film Whiteline in 2009.

Hallmark Channel hired Daniel Lissing to debut in 2018 with the series When Calls the Heart Season 1, where he worked with many popular Hallmark actors. His role as Jack Thornton was praised by audiences.

He got into his very first American role in the year of 2012 on the Last Resort on ABC in the year 2012 and later of which he starred in Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart in the year of 2014.

As an Australian actor, he did a lot of projects which involves The Crownies in the year 2011, a movie called The Cure in the year 2014 in which he acted in the lead role, John Doe: Vigilante in the year 2014, and also in tv series such as Packed to the Rafters in the year 2008, Cops LAC in the year 2010, Out of the Blue in the year 2008 and Home and Away in the year 2010.

In the year of 2006, he acted in a guest role in Home and Away an Australian series as the firefighter named Dave Elder. He was also in the cast of the series Crownies in which he acted as Conrad De Groot in the year 2011 as the fiancé of the lawyer Tatum Novak who was played by Indiana Evans till the series ended in the very same year.
