Bridget Catherine Regan is an American actress and producer well-known for her work in television series and films. Some of her popular roles as Rose Solano in Jane the Virgin, and Kahlan Amnell in Legend of the Seeker.

Regan has appeared in five television films so far. Her debut television movie was Supreme Courtships in 2007. She played the role of Holly. Her other television films are Hide, and Murder in Manhattan. She has appeared in two Hallmark movies.

Her debut Hallmark movie was Magic Stocking in 2015 and her other movie was Christmas Getaway in 2017. She played the role of Emory Blake, a travel writer who takes a Christmas vacation, but finds herself double-booked with a widower, his mother, and his daughter at the holiday site.

Regan was born on February 3, 1982, in Carlsbad, California, United States. Her parents are Jim Regan and Mary Catherine Regan. She grew up in an Irish-American family and was raised Catholic. She attended San Dieguito Academy High School. Later she went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to study theater and drama, particularly classical theater. After graduating, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.

She married Eamon O’Sullivan, a writer, whom she met in New Zealand while filming Legend of the Seeker. The couple has two children – a daughter (Frankie Jean O’Sullivan) and a son (Bernard Moon O’Sullivan).

Regan started her career as a child actor. She was cast in the North County productions of The Wizard of Oz at the La Paloma Theater. Regan also acted in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Carlsbad. She has also appeared in the theatre productions like Sweet Bird of Youth, Children and Art, The Scottish Play, Is He Dead?, Geneva, and Camp Wanatachi (she was also the co-producer).

In 2006, she started appearing in various television shows and films. She has appeared in films like Blinders, The Babysitters, Sex and the City, The Best and the Brightest, John Wick, The Leisure Class, and Devil’s Gate.
