The Story of A Machu Picchu Proposal

Katie goes on a trip to Peru with her brother Dan and his girlfriend Luciana. Dan wants to ask Luciana to marry him at the end of the week at Machu Picchu, and he needs Katie to help speak Spanish to Luciana’s dad.

But when Luciana’s friend, Chef Carlos (played by Alec Santos), shows up, he keeps messing up Dan’s big plans by accident. Katie tries really hard to help Dan make the proposal happen. But in the end, Dan decides to stop trying.

Then Katie teams up with Chef Carlos, who likes to do things in a fun, unexpected way. Together, they try to fix everything—and along the way, Carlos might even win Katie’s heart.

1 Alec Santos as Carlos

Alec Santos is an actor born in Brazil and raised in the United States. He began his acting journey in 2013 with a short film called The Goodbye Girl, where he played a Street Patron.

In 2017, he made his TV debut in the popular series Bates Motel as a Forensic Photographer. Alec got his first big movie role in Daughter, directed by Anthony Shim, where he played a character named Scott.

After building a strong career in Hollywood, Alec stepped into the world of Hallmark movies in 2021 with Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone. Rhiannon Marie Fish is a Canadian and Australian actress. She is well known for her role as Rocky in As the Bell Rings. She started her career with the series Neighbours in 2003.

Hallmark Channel hired Rhiannon Fish in 2020 with You’re Bacon Me Crazy, where she worked as a supporting artist with actors Natalie Hall, and Michael Rady.
