Actress Taylor Cole was born to Deborah Quinn, but she does not publicly disclose the name of her biological father. She has a stepfather named Shawn Christian, a popular American actor, and a brother named Kameron Christian. Later on 2013 her mom and stepfather got divorced.

Actress Taylor Cole worked with her Ex- stepfather, Shawn Christian, in the TV series Summerland and the Hallmark movie Ruby Herring Mysteries: Silent Witness.

She relocate to New York City to pursue her modeling career and later of which she got to act as a guest star for the pilot of Summerland in the year 2004. She used to visit her mom and stepdad during this shoot in Los Angeles and won them over and later the recurring part became a regular role.
