Rachael Leigh Cook is an American actress and also model. She was born on 4th October 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA. Her nicknames are The Indie Queen and Cook.

She is well-known for her movies such as She’s All That in the year 1999, Josie and the Pussycats in the year 2001, and The Baby-Sitters Club in the year 1995, and she was also in a television series Into the West and Perception.  She has also voiced for Robot Chicken and Tifa Lockhart in a series named Final Fantasy series.

Rachael Leigh Cook, the American actress was born to Thomas H.Cook and JoAnn Cook. Her father Thomas Howard Cook was a former stand-up comedian and a social worker whereas her mother JoAnn is a cooking instructor and a weaver. She has a part of Italian descent and she has been in social service since she was a child.

Her very first social work was when she went in on a public service announcement for foster care when she was just a seven-year-old by age she started working as a child-print model at the age of ten and she is most known for nationally known or nationwide advertisements for Target and also on the Milk-Bone dog biscuit boxes. As for her schooling, she went to Clara Barton Open School, Laurel Springs School, and Minneapolis South High School.

Rachel Leigh Cook started her auditioning for acting in her early teens i.e. when she was fourteen years old and she made her first on-screen debut as an actress in the year of 1995 in the movie The Baby-Sitters Club. She also acted in the Tom and Huck release in December 1995 an adventure film.

In the year of 1996, she had her short film which she got on with a little help from her modeling agency was named 26 Summer Street. Later then she got a lead role in the movie, Country Justice, in the year of 1977 and she acted like a 15 years old rape victim. She also played in Josie and the Pussycats in the year though it was a box office failure.
