Sustad started her career with the short Live Henry Live in 2009. Later she worked in a TV movie Thunderballs in 2011, as a supporting artist.

Hallmark Channel hired Kimberley for the first time in 2012 for a Christmas movie A Bride for Christmas, where she worked with Andrew W. Walker and Arielle Kebbel. It was her door-opening movie for the Hallmark channel.
