Catherine Bell is a British-American actress and model. She was born on August 14, 1968, in London, England, UK. Her birth name is Catherine Lisa Bell.

She is well-known for her characters such as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie in JAG a television series between the years 1997 till 2005.

In the series Army Wives as Denise Sherwood from the year, 2007 till the year 2013 and she has acted in The Good Witch movies and TV series as Cassie aka Cassandra Nightingale which has been a Hallmark project since the year 2008.

Bell the British actress was born to Peter Bell and Mina Bell. Though she moved to California when she was 2 years old She still acts like her mother’s personal assistant.

As a child, she acted in many television advertisements, and also for her studies and schooling she went on to study biology/ pre-medicine at UCLA, and later of which she dropped out to become a model in Japan. Lisa came back to the US for acting in a Mexican commercial for American Express.

• In 1992 Bell met her ex-husband Adam Beason in the film shoot of Death Become Her. They started dating each other. On May 8, 1994, they got married, and later in 2011, they took divorced.

Catherine Bell, Struggle, Success and Career

On returning to the USA she wanted to do acting as a career. She got herself in the Beverly Hills Playhouse with Milton Katselas and also worked at the Peninsula Hotel as a massage therapist for eight years.

Catherine also had the singer Peter Gabriel as her client.  She got her first debut television role in the sitcom Sugar and Spice though short-lived in the year 1990.

In the year of 1994, she starred in Men of War which was a Dolph Lundgren film. While doing this movie shoot in Thailand she and her co-star got bonded over contracting amoebic dysentery whose name is Trevor Goddard.

He was her co-star in the JAG too. They both remained friends for a long time and later he was dead due to an overdose of drugs in June 2003.
