Anand Desai-Barochia is a British actor and producer. He is best known for his roles in the film The Tiger Hunter as Vikram (2016), The Outpost (TV series) as Janzo (2018–2021), Bridgerton as Lord Hardy (2020), and Leverage: Redemption (TV series) as Dr. Phineas Dunbar (2023).

In 2022, he stepped into the Hallmark world with the film The Presence of Love, directed by Maclain Nelson. In this movie, he played the supporting role of Felix, sharing the screen with popular actors Julian Morris and Eloise Mumford.

Anand Desai-Barochia was born on July 3, 1985, in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England, UK. His parents are of Indian origin and later settled in the UK, where they became citizens.

His father is a businessman, and his mother is a neuroradiologist. However, there is little information available on social media about their names or whether Anand has a sister.

He completed his schooling at Nunthorpe School and later attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. After graduating, he went on to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles.

Anand Desai-Barochia began his acting journey in 2010 with the TV series Skins, where he appeared in a small role as a Choir Boy. He soon made his big-screen debut in the film A Holiday Heist, playing the character Alfred. His career took a stronger turn in 2016 when he landed a bigger role as Vikram in the film The Tiger Hunter.

However, his breakthrough came with The Outpost, where from 2018 to 2020 he brought to life the quirky and lovable character Janzo, the brewer and alchemist, across 49 episodes. This role became one of his most recognized and successful performances, earning him a loyal fan following.

Expanding his talents behind the camera, Anand also produced a TV series in 2021, further showcasing his creativity in the industry.
