Gail O’Grady was born on January 23, 1963, and was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Gail was born to her parents Jim O’Grady and Jan O’Grady. Her father Jim O’Grady was a financial planner.
She grew up in Wheaton, Illinois and she got graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1981. Gail was in a few commercials before leaving for Los Angeles in the year 1986 .

Gail was married and divorced six times. She after breaking up with an artist named Robert Claypool. Actress Gail sought a restraining order against him in the year of 1995 and claimed he was stalking her though she didn’t get it.
Later he responded by suing her for defamation, libel, and slander. In the year 2004 before her sixth marriage to John Stamatakis, O’Grady gave birth to her first child with her ex-boyfriend Chris Byers.

Gail O’Grady started her career as a model for Montgomery Ward being an actor for a lot of Commercials. She was playing the neighbor of Michael J. Fox in one where he chases down a Diet Pepsi. As time went on, she started having guest appearances frequently as a villain.
She had her very big debut in the year 1988 in She’s Having a Baby, a 1988 romantic comedy, and she also was cast for two episodes on China Beach an ABC drama. She has guest starred for several other shows and was in tv shows and independent movies too.
