Mallory Jansen is an Australian and British actress well-known for her role in the ABC series Galavant and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In 2020, Jansen starred in her first ever Hallmark movie, On The 12th Date of Christmas. She played the lead role of Jennifer Holloway, a Chicago-based game developer (not video games, but scavenger hunts). Aidan Walsh is also a game developer.

The couple together has to come up with the most epic hunt to drive the locals to the grand opening of a newly renovated historic hotel.

They both are seemingly incompatible, but together they create a romantic city-wide scavenger hunt themed for the 12-Days of Christmas. She has also appeared in two more Hallmark movies – Her Pen Pal, and Francesca Queen, PI.

Jansen was born on June 18, 1989, in Melbourne, Australia. In 2011, she had training in New York at Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She is coached and trained by some of the world’s best acting, analysis, method, accent, and film teachers. After completing her studies, she returned to Australia and secured roles in television series.

After completing her acting training, Jansen returned to Australia and landed her first-ever television miniseries Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War in 2012. She played the role of Sharon. The Australian drama miniseries was set in the 1970s. In 2014, she appeared in INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, a two-part miniseries about the rock band INXS. She played the role of Helena Christensen, a Danish model, and photographer.

The miniseries was nominated for the Logie Awards for the Most Outstanding Miniseries or Telemovie. Jansen has also appeared in television series like Mr & Mrs Murder, Twentysomething, Baby Daddy, Young & Hungry, American Housewife, This Is Us, Shooter, and The Big Leap.

Her well-known roles are in Galavant, an American musical fantasy comedy television series from 2015 to 2016. She played the role of Queen Madalena, the love of Galavant’s life. Madalena is kidnapped by King Richard. While Galavant tries to get her back, she decides to marry King Richard for fame and fortune. From 2016 to 2017, she played the role of Madame Hydra or AIDA in the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
