Reshma Shetty is a British actress and model. She’s known for her works in Broadway musicals and television series.  Shetty has starred in the Hallmark movie Jolly Good Christmas, which will be premiering this year during Hallmark Channel’s beloved annual Countdown to Christmas programming event.

Shetty plays the role of Anji, a professional shopper. She crosses paths with David who raises an eyebrow over his choice of a gift card. When they cross paths again, he decides to hire her in the hopes of finding the right gift. David goes on a wild adventure across Jolly Old London as Anji helps him in search of the perfect present.

Reshma Shetty was born on November 2, 1977, in Manchester, England, United Kingdom. Her parents are Indian Hindus. She was raised in both England before moving with her parents to Richmond, Virginia, the United States at the age of 15.

She studied pre-med at James Madison University and she participated in vocal competitions her success prompted her to switch majors. Reshma graduated with a BM in opera performance. She received her Master of Music from the University of Kentucky. In 2005, she moved to the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music where she earned her artist diploma in Opera.

Currently, she resides in New York City. On March 19, 2011, she married Deep Katdare, actor and financer. He starred in Bombay Dreams. On October 6, 2015, she gave birth to their daughter Ariya Eliana. Her height is 5 feet 4 inches, her weight is 58 kg, her hair color is black, and her eye color is black. Her net worth is estimated to be $6 million.

Shetty started her acting career in Broadway musicals in 2006. Bombay Dreams is a Broadway musical, in which she played the role of Priya, the female lead. The musical was on a national tour. Her next Off-Broadway play was Rafta Rafta. She was one of the cast members of the American television program Royal Pains. She played Divya Katdare, a physician assistant.

On the Fox News Channel, she was an occasional guest panelist on the show Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld. On the Netflix reboot She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, she starred as Queen Angelia.

In 2007, she appeared in Steam, in which she played the role of Niala. She also appeared in 30 Rock, Delivering the Goods, Hated, Allegiance, CSI Miami, and Odd Mom Out. Reshma was cast in the main role of Dr. Talaikha Channarayapatra in the medical drama series Pure Genius from 2016 to 2017. She voiced Elodie in the American animated series OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.
