Nazneen Contractor is an Indian-born Canadian actress well-known for her role as Layla Hourani in the television series The Border, and as Kayla Hassan on 24.

Contractor has appeared in six television movies so far and three of which were Hallmark movies. In 2002, she appeared in The Matthew Shepherd Story, Othello the Tragedy of the Moor, and Pegasus vs. Chimera.

Her debut Hallmark movie was The Christmas Ring in 2020. She played the role of Kendra Adams, a reporter who searches for the love story behind an antique engagement ring with the help of the grandson of the ring’s owner.

In 2021, she appeared in A Winter Getaway, in which she played the role of Courtney Evans. The movie is about a man who finds romance with a concierge after he’s mistaken for a millionaire during a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

In 2022, she played the role of Christina in the movie The Perfect Pairing. The movie is about a food and wine critic who falls for a single father after she hits her head and loses her memory.
