Jonathan Bennett is an American actor and also a television host. He started his first move by moving to New York he pursues acting. He started his search after the completion of his graduation at Otterbein in a theater program.

It was like a coincidence that he was actually discovered by an agent when he was traveling on a train. After six months he signed for All My Children, the iconic soap opera in which he was J.R. Chandler.  From then on his career was on and on the go.

He was in teen comedies and also was involved in some biggest and brightest of star movies which include, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 in which he was with Steve Martin, and Love Wrecked with Amanda Bynes. He has also replaced Ryan Reynolds and was in Van Wilder: Freshman Year as Van Wilder.

Jonathan Bennett was born on 10th June 1981 and was born in Rossford, Ohio, USA. His father David Bennett was a Toledo physician and his mother is Ruthanne Bennett

Jonathan had two half-brothers, Brian and Brent, and a half-sister, Lisa. He went to Eagle Point Elementary School in Rossford, Ohio, and as for high school in Rossford High School in 1999. He had his college studies at Otterbein University.

In March 2022 Jonathan got married to Jaymes Vaughan at the Unico Riviera Maya Hotel in Mexico.

Jonathan Bennett’s Success and Career

Jonathan Bennett moved to New York and was in the ABC’s soap opera All My Children in which he was JR Chandler from the year 2001 to 2002. After that, he was on various TV dramas which included Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Smallville, and Veronica Mars.

He has co-starred in the movie Mean Girls as Aaron Samuels which is the 2004 comedy and the love interest of Lindsay Lohan’s character and he has in Cheaper by the Dozen 2, a family comedy movie which was in the year of 2005 in which he was a co-star.

Jonathan was also in the romantic comedy movie Lovewrecked. He has also been in the direct-to-video prequel TV series The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning in the year 2007  in which he was Bo Duke and he starred as Van Wilder: Freshman Year in the title character in the year 2009.

He was also in the Hallmark original movie Elevator Girl as Nick. On the 4th of September 2014, he was credited as one of the celebs who competed in Dancing with the Stars on the 19th season and he was with a professional dancer Allison Holker.
