Story of the Hallmark the Movie We Need A Little Christmas
Julie moves to a new town with her son Gavin trying to look for a new beginning. Both Julie and Gavin (Azriel Dalman) are grieving the loss of a husband and father. Julie owns an architectural design firm, which she started with her husband. She is trying to juggle her business, and take care of her child as a single parent.
She is dreading to face the holidays without her husband for the first time. So she immerses herself in work and sends her son to a Christmas day camp.
Julie’s next door neighbor is Irene, a widow, whose grandson is in the military as a doctor and she doesn’t have anyone to look after. Irene keeps herself incredibly busy and she spends her day volunteering in various capacities.
Irene happens to be one of the volunteers at Gavin’s Christmas camp. She and Gavin hit it off and they develop a special bond. Julie and Irene begin to share their experiences with each other. Irene helps Julie find a balance between her personal and professional lives.
Julie’s current project is renovating Peter’s (Patrick Sabongui) restaurant. With a little nudge from Irene, Peter and Julie fall in love with each other over the holidays.
