Tim Ross Early Life

Tim Ross was born on December 2, 1968, in Sydney, Australia. Ross received a Bachelor of Arts degree after completing his studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and La Trobe University, both in Melbourne. Ross started out in comedy, and he and Merrick Watts first worked together in 1996 for a one-off comedic performance.

They continued to perform stand-up routines together frequently, traveling Australia and taking part in numerous comedy festivals. Merrick and Rosso, The Book and Merrick and Rosso, The Book Volume 2 were co-authored by them. Ross has fronted the comedy group Black Rose, which opened the Vivofit festivals in Melbourne and Sydney in 2009. He also performs as a comedian.

He started his career as a comedian and has done a lot of live performances across Australia. Later he joined Radio with Merrick Watts and hosted a program Merrick and Rosso. Then they launched the commercial Radio station Nova 96.9. Moreover, he finally made an appearance on television with the Super Planet Merrick and Rosso show.

They had a guest role in the Australian drama All Saints. Merrick and Rosso Unplanned was their television show. In 2010, he took over hosting duties for the MTV Australia unsigned band competition series Uncharted and the Seven Network’s Australia Versus. In 2011, Ross took Paul Murray’s place as a Weekend All Star and joined Weekend Sunrise.

He served as the show’s third season host as well. In 2021, Ross talked with families whose lives had been impacted by landmark building for Creating A Legacy, an hour-long television programme that aired on the ABC. He has written about architecture for a number of publications, including The Saturday Paper, The Smith Journal, Real Living, Habitus, Qantas Magazine, and The Guardian.
