Story of the Hallmark Movie The Gift of Peace

This Hallmark movie is all about learning to make peace with the past.

Traci (Nikki DeLoach), is an artist who goes through a hard time after her husband Greg died two years ago. She doesn’t know how to move forward in her life. Once she was a devoted Christian but she stops believing and loses faith during her second Christmas without her husband.

In search of comfort and inspiration during Christmas, she joins a grief support group at church. The leader of the support group is Michael (Brennan Elliot). The support group has about five people who have lost their loved ones. With the guidance of their leader Michael, they talk about how tough it is for them to move on with their lives, especially during the Christmas season.

During one of the sessions, the members of the grief support group go on a nature hike to see the sunrise and talk about the theme – of finding peace. As they hike, all they have to do is stay in the moment, have a memory or thought make room for it, and enjoy nature.

With every session at the support group, Traci begins to find hope, peace, and inspiration and forms new friendships.
