Early life, Family, and Relationship
Shawn was born in Richmond, British Columbia in Canada. His father was a manufacturing engineer and his mother was a homemaker. He grew up in St.Albert, Alberta, and Brampton, Ontario. He did his schooling in Earnscliffe Senior Public School and Turner Fenton Secondary School.
His brother Aaron who is his twin is also an actor and has played in several movies as twins. He is slightly shorter than his brother and even Aaron has once stated that he always gets to be the bully and Shawn gets to be the nice guy role. Both have a GMA tattoo which means Good Man Ashmore and the other part is their grandpa Ashmore has the same kind of tattoo too.

The X-men sequels X-Men, X2, and X-Men: The Last Stand made him really up to the level of fame and notable as a globally recognized actor too. He has also reprised an animated series in the character of Iceman which is The Super Hero Squad Show and voiced for the same character Iceman in a video game called X-Men: The Official Game.
Shawn has also done Quantum Break in the month of April of 2016, as a single-player third-person shooter video game by Remedy Entertainment and which was also a Publication by Microsoft Studios and which featured an Action TV Show ( a high-budgeted one). In that Shawn played the main role named Jack Joyce and he has also done the motion picture along with voice acting for the same role.
From October 2016 to Jan 2017 he played the character Sam SPencer in the U.S. legal drama conviction and this series was pictured in Toronto. In the year 2020, he acted in the second season of the series called THe Boys in Amazon prime Video which was a superhero series too.
