Early life, Family and Relationship
Peter was born in Toronto, Ontario in Canada to Indian immigrant parents who were of mixed Anglo-Indian descent. His parents moved from Bombay to Calcutta and later to Canada. He was raised as a Catholic Christian. They moved to the Toronto suburb of Brampton.
When Peters was four, he and his family moved to the Chinguacousy Secondary School for his grades of 9–10 and then for the eleventh and twelfth grade he went to North Peel Secondary School in Bramalea. He was used to being bullied due to his ethnicity and so to avoid it he learned boxing and helped himself from those bothering.

He started with acting as start form performances in Toronto in the year 1989. He went to several countries also to make performances. George Carlin an American comedian was met by Peters in the year 1992 and it became the biggest influence for him by his advice to get on stage to the distance he can reach.
He took that advice to heart and got on stage too. He has also hosted Carlin’s last show in the year 2007 before his death b the following year. Russell Peters was also awarded the Trailblazer award by the Association of South Asians in Media, Marketing and Entertainment for his good contributions in comedy in the year 2013. He is one of the first South Asians to get international success in the industry.
Top Gear America was a series in which he made a guest appearance in the third episode in the first season. Pete earned $15 million between June of 2009 to June of 2012 according to Forbes. He is one of the highest-paid comedians and in the year 2013 he earned $21 million according to Forbes and as mentioned previously he is the world’s third highest-paid comedian as per Forbes Sensex itself.
