Early life, Family, and Relationship
Nicole or Princess Nokia is of Afro-Indigenous and of Puerto Rican descent. She was born on 14th June 1992. When she was a ten-year-old she lost her mother to AIDS and when she was between her nine to sixteen she was in foster care and she was physically abused by her foster mother.
When she left foster care she went to live with her granny and subsequently began to write poems and she was in East Harlem and the Lower East Side of New York City at the time.

Princess Nokia in the year of 2010 she has recorded and released her very first song which was Destiny and she did it with the stage name Wavy Spice on her SoundCloud page later of which she launched the song on her Youtube channel in mid-2012.
Subsequently, she had her second song which was Bitch I’m Posh. She also made a song after that which was based on her Taino ancestry named YAYA. Nokia has also released singles like Vicki Gotti and Versace Hottie. She then changed her name to Princess Nokia which she said it was an alter ego.
She brought to light the character with the song Nokia. On 12th May 2014, she got her debut studio album Metallic Butterfly, which debuted on Vice and SoundCloud. Her second studio album 1992 Deluxe peaked at 25 in the US Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart and also was listed by NME as the 32nd best album of the year 2017. Nokia had her radio debut show on Apple’s Beats 1 Radio on 18th Feb 2018. She has done six episodes labeled, The Voices in My Head with Princess Nokia.
