Early life, Family and Relationship
Kevin Darnell Hart is the birth name of Kevin Hart. He was born on 6th July 1979 and he was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is the son of Henry Hart and Nancy Hart. His mother, unfortunately, passed away in the year of 2007. His older brother’s name was Robert. He was raised by his mother as a single parent and she was a systems analyst in the University of Pennsylvania. She worked for the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services in the University.
Kevin’s father was a cocaine addict who spent his life in and out of jail through most of Kevin’s childhood and this made him to use humour to avoid and keep him away from his troubled childhood with his family. He later had a good relationship with his dad after he got over the cocaine addiction. Kevin also used to talk about his mom during his stand-up routine picturing her as a loving though intimidating persona. Soon after he got graduated from George Washington High School, he went to the Community College of Philadelphia. Later he dropped out from there and moved to NY City. later of which he moved to Brockton, Massachusetts, and found work as a shoe salesman.

Success and career
Kevin Hart made his first performance which was at The Laff House in his birthplace Philadelphia itself with the name Lil Kev and it didn’t go very well. He had a slowly started career and he was bullied a lot of time offstage and one of those was he got a chicken thrown at him. After all these incidents he never lost hope and went on to enter comedy competitions throughout Massachusetts which further made the audience receptions move better improved for him. It really took time but he developed his unique comedy style. After an early period of time in which he imitated comedians like Chris Tucker, he found his own style as he went on in his life and career with all those experiences and insecurities of the past.
