Story of the Hallmark Movie Girlfriendship

Hallmark Channel’s movie Grilfriendship is all about friendship, growth and love. The entire film was shot in South Carolina and you are sure to fall in love with its scenic location.

Samara Williams (Tamera Mowry-Housley) has planned a big birthday event with her two best friends Eva (Krystal Joy Brown) and Renee (Lyndie Greenwood). Samara works in finance and she is waiting for her big promotion for which she has really worked hard. Before her birthday, she learns that she’s finally being considered to be promoted to Director of Finance. So she decides to cancel her big birthday party, but her friends do not take no for an answer! Both Eva and Renee plan on taking Samara away for a surprise girls’ trip to Charleston. Unfortunately, there is a booking mishap and the three women embark on a back-to-nature retreat in Edisto Island, in South Carolina’s Lowcountry.

Though all three were initially disappointed, the retreat turns out to be an eye-opener for them. Samara, Eva and Renee are in wonderful places in their respective lives but they realize that they keep wanting more. Krystal Joy Brown is an American actress. She is known for her roles in television series and Broadway theatre. In 2020, Brown appeared in the Hallmark movie One Royal Holiday. She played the role of Sarah Melnick, the youngest Mayor in her town. In 2021, she was cast in another Hallmark movie Writing Around the Christmas Tree. She played the role of Mikaela Leighton, a successful novelist. Her late mother was a famous author.

Lyndie Greenwood is a Canadian actress. She is known for her role in the series Sleepy Hollow as Jenny Mills and Dr. Elvi Okoye in the series The Expanse.

Greenwood’s first Hallmark movie was Every Time A Bell Rings, which was released in 2021. She played the role of Maizy. The movie is about three sisters who reunite in their hometown and discover that their late father had planned one last scavenger hunt for them.
