Ivy Donaldson (Andrea Barber) goes through a difficult transition in her life as she is separated from her husband Rob (Dan Payne). To be strong for her daughter’s sake, she does things that will get the mother and daughter to bond with each other.
She has to be upbeat for her daughter’s sake in their small town of Icicle Falls. But she feels the pressure of her mother Muriel’s memory.
Ivy’s mother Muriel was bigger than life. She was a former television star who owned The Christmas Haus in town. She was even nicknamed the ‘Christmas Maven’. Muriel was always in charge of the Candy Cane Lane Lights Extravaganza. But Ivy feels she cannot even attempt to duplicate what her mother did for their amazing town.
A series of mysterious, yet comical events bring the neighbours of Icicle Falls, including Ivy’s entire family together. The events brought together a masterstroke of perfection only the Christmas Maven herself could appreciate.
