Early life, Family, and Relationship
Brendan was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in the USA, and was the youngest of four brothers. His parents were Canadian. And father was a former Journalist who was a Canadian foreign service officer for the Government Office of Tourism whereas his mother was a sales counselor.
Actor Brendan’s uncle i.e mom’s brother was the only Canadian to win a gold medal in the year 1952 Summer Olympics at the Olympic Trap whose name is George Genereux. Bren has Irish, Scottish, German, Czech, and French-Canadian ancestry too.
He also has both American and Canadian citizenship. Brendan went to Upper Canada College, a private boarding school in Toronto, and during his vacation, he went to a professional theatre show in the West End which was his first one in London it was the incident that got him an interest in acting as well.
He got graduation from Seattle’s Cornish College of Arts in the year 1990. Brendan started acting in a small acting college in New York City and planned to study Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Southern Methodist University whereas his interest in acting got in Hollywood.

Brendan made his debut as a sailor in Dogfight and his first leading film character in the year 1992 named Encino Man in which he was a frozen prehistoric caveman who has been brought out to the present day. The movie was a moderate success and was considered a cult movie.
