Andre 3000 whose birth name is Andre Lauren Benjamin is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is well-known for being in the southern hip hop duo Outkast in which he was with the fellow rapper Big Boi. Andre was also acting in movies and TV series which include, the lead role of Jimi Hendrix in All Is by My Side, Semi-Pro, High Life, Four Brothers, Families, The Shield, Be Cool, and Revolver.
He also played in the AMC series Dispatches as Fred Wynn. He is well-known for his Cartoon Network series, Class of 3000 between the years 2006 till 2008. Along with all these, he has been an entrepreneur and an advocate for animal rights and in the spring of 2008, he started a clothing line called Benjamin Bixby. Early life, Family, and Relationship
Andre 3000 was born on 27th May 1975 and was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He was the only child of Sharon Benjamin, a real estate seller and collections agent Lawrence Harvey Walker.
Andre was raised by his single mother in Atlanta, East Point, and Buckhead. He went to Sarah Smith Elementary School, Sutton Middle School, Northside High School, McClarin Success Academy, and Tri-Cities High School. He was friends with Fonzworth Bentley during his childhood.

Andre’s Success and career
Andre 3000 when he was in high school met with Antwan Big Boi Patton. He and Patton formed a team to form Outkast. After getting graduated Outkast was signed to the Atlanta-based LaFace label and released their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, in the year of 1994.
After the success of this single Player’s Ball which went platinum by the end of that year and Outkast was named the Best New Rap Group of the Year at the Source Awards 1995. The next two albums ATLiens and Aquemini in the year of 1996 and 1998 respectively experimented with their sound by adding elements.
Outkast did experiment with their sound by adding elements like trip-hop, soul, and jungle. Their albums were also experienced by a return to the traditional black music genres with funk being the most prominent. One led to another and he went on up and more.
