Early life, Family and Relationship
Tom was born in Westminster in London on 9th Feb of 1981. His father was a Scottish born scientist and a Managing Director of a Pharmaceutical company as well and his mother was an English born who was a former stage manager.
He got into a preparatory school, The Dragon School in Oxford and got onboard in college when he was 13 at Eton College during which his parents were planning and going for a divorce. Later he continued his studies at the University of Cambridge and also got his double first in the Classics. He then also joined acting studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which he graduated in the year 2005.

On going along with his studies in Cambridge he got the eyes of an agency called Hamilton Hodell with which he signed for a play A Streetcar Named Desire. After that, he was cast in his first television role called The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby in the year 2001.
