Early Life
Fehr was born on October 29, 1977, in New Westminster, British Columbia, to a father who was a yacht maker and a mother who worked as a case manager in the criminal justice system. In 1990, he relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was brought up as a devout Russian Mennonite. From Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute, he received his diploma in 1995.
Career
Fehr has featured in periodicals and posed for brands including Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Emporio Armani, and DKNY Jeans. He was chosen to appear in CR6, the first online soap opera, in 1996. When he was chosen for Breaker High in 1997, Fehr made his television debut. From 1999 to 2002, he had a regular part in the science fiction TV show Roswell. Fehr had the lead role in the U2 music video “Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out Of” in 2001. He portrays a rookie American football player called Paul Hewson (Bono’s true name), who misses the game-winning kick as the ball strikes the goal post. Additionally, Vanessa Carlton’s “Pretty Baby” music video featured Fehr.
Fehr had a recurring role as Jared Booth on Bones in 2008 and as Jake Stanton in the ABC miniseries Samurai Girl. He played Cole, a criminalist, in the CSI: Miami TV series in 2009. In the 2011 films X-Men First Class and A Christmas Kiss, Fehr portrayed a businessman and a warship’s navigator, respectively. As a guest actor, he appeared in two episodes of Nikita (TV series).
In the NBC drama The Night Shift, Fehr debuted in 2014 as Dr. Drew Alister, a physician at a hospital in San Antonio who served in the Army. After four seasons, the programme came to an end in 2017. Between 2001 and 2006, Fehr was in a relationship with MajandraDelfino, his Roswell co-star and on-screen love interest, and they were engaged.
Together with his wife, Jennifer Rowley, whom he wed in July 2006, he now splits his time between Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, California. James Olivia (born in 2008), Ellison Jane (born in 2011), and OndineCarda Kitty are the couple’s three children (b. 2013).
