Goldy Berry (Nikki Deloach) is a professional caterer. She throws a lavish barbeque party for one of her childhood friends, Susie Craig, who is an acclaimed realtor.

After the party, Goldy is shocked to discover that Susie’s grill exploded and killed her! Goldy’s reputation is put under fire when people learn that she was the last one to use the grill.

On a mission to clear her name and reputation, Goldy teams up once again with detective Tom Schultz (Andrew W. Walker) to figure out who was behind the mysterious explosion.

As Goldy and Tom weed through the party guests, the suspect list grows with personal and professional rivalries (ex-spouses and business partners) due to heated gossip and dark secrets. As they investigate, Goldy and Tom realize that the murderer might be closer to them than they imagined.
