Early Life
Gunna was born in the Georgia town of College Park. His mother reared him, and he has four elder brothers. He began making music when he was fifteen years old. He grew up listening to artists such as Cam’ron, Chingy, and Outkast. Gunna went to Langston Hughes High School and North Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences. Gunna released the mixtape Hard Body as Yung Serg in 2013.

Gunna started out as a rapper at a young age. Growing up in Atlanta, he was influenced by his family’s difficulties. He even experimented with drugs, but he recovered. Rap music saved him at this point. Gunna released his debut mixtape, ‘Hard Body,’ on June 16, 2013. It included some of his early successes, such as “Hardbody,” “We Live This,” “Faded,” “I’m Not a Criminal,” and others.

The mixtape was a huge success, with tracks like “Phase,” “Another Wave (Ft. Lil Duke & Shad da God),” “Belly of the Beast,” “YSL (Ft. Playboi Carti),” and “Beat the Case (Ft. Offset),” among others. However, this success paled in comparison to the success of his third mixtape, ‘Drip Season 3.’ The EP ‘Drip or Drown’ was released as a prelude to the album on November 30, 2017. It immediately drew attention to itself.
On February 2, 2018, ‘Drip Season 3’ was finally released. Because of his dedication to the album, it became his breakout mixtape. Every song on the album became extremely popular. “Helluva Price,” “Drippin,” “Almighty (Ft. Hoodrich Pablo Juan),” “Car Sick (Ft. Metro Boomin & NAV),” and “Drip or Drown (Remix) (Ft. Lil Yachty”) are among Gunna’s strongest tracks from the mixtape. With his fourth mixtape, ‘Drip Harder,’ he replicated the success (released October 5, 2018).
In partnership with Lil Baby, the mixtape included industry giants including as Drake, Young Thug, Lil Durk, and others. It was published after the leak of the track “Sold Out Dates.” Despite the fact that it was not included on the record, it became one of their biggest successes. ‘Drip Harder’ also included chart-toppers including Lil Baby, Gunna, and Drake’s “Drip Too Hard,” “Off White VLONE (Ft.
