Story of the Movie Christmas at the Drive-In
Sadie Walker (Danica McKellar), a property owner, has a rough year – she had to leave her law practice after losing her biggest case, and she is no longer engaged to her boyfriend!
Looking for a fresh start, Sadie moves to her hometown of Chesterfield, New York. To start over, she works as a law professor at Chesterfield College. Sadie has no interest in pursuing law ever again following her major life disruptions.
Sadie who never wanted to pursue law, finds herself pursuing law again until she finds herself fighting to preserve a cherished local landmark – Chesterfield Drive-In Theatre. This cherished landmark is owned by the late owner’s son Holden (Neal Bledsoe), who also happens to be Sadie’s childhood sweetheart. While fighting the staunch opposition – Holden, who is trying to sell the property, Sadie finds romance!

1 Danica McKellar as Sadie Walker
Danica McKellar is an American actress and she moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was just eight. Her mother was a homemaker and whereas her father was a real estate developer and her younger sister’s name is crystal.
She is of Scottish, French, German, Spanish, and Dutch descent from her father’s ancestry and her mother is of Portuguese origin from Azores and Madeira islands.
Danica McKellar did her schooling at the University of California and got her graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Mathematics in the year 1998. She is a lawyer too.
Danica co-authored a scientific paper with Professor Lincoln Chayes and her friend Brandy Winn which was named Percolation and Gibbs states multiplicity for ferromagnetic Ashkin–Teller models and they named their results as Their results are termed the “Chayes–McKellar–Winn theorem”. Full Bio
